Our Conservative government have made us the first country in the world to introduce a regulator for football (the recent Football Governance Bill), an industry where the UK is already a 'superpower' and a genuine world leader with over 900 million people watching the Premier League globally.
The Premier League had added £8 billion to the UK economy, and supported 90,000+ jobs.
For Uxbridge and South Ruislip, the Premier League last year gave us £1.25million to fund grassroots football - this has been used for changing rooms and artificial grass pitches.
Both the government and the Premier League will continue to work with everyone to make sure football is more sustainable and fans are heard.
