It was great to attend the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Bowel Cancer’s drop-in event this afternoon and signing up as a member of the APPG.
Too many people are dying of bowel cancer. Bowel cancer is Britain’s second biggest cancer killer – but it does not have to be this way. If diagnosed at an early stage you have a 90% chance of surviving bowel cancer, but not enough people are.
At the drop-in I heard about a range of innovations helping us improve bowel cancer outcomes but a key thing we can do is help raise awareness.
