It was great to meet up with Huw Merriman (Minister of State for Transport) and Cllr Ian Edwards (Leader of Hillingdon Council) at West Drayton Station to discuss the ongoing situation that is preventing buses from serving the station forecourt.
Also in attendance were Network Rail representatives who were able to see first-hand how this situation is causing major disruption to travelling residents.
It was good to hear that Network Rail have now agreed a timetable to complete the sub-surface repairs - and I look forward to buses being able to return to the station forecourt.
This has taken too long to resolve where I will ensure that Network Rail are accountable and take ownership for their timetable.
