Your Vote Matters on the 2nd of May
So… Sadiq Khan has been Mayor of London for 8 years, and let’s sum up what he’s done…
No bobbies on the beat – The Mayor of London is responsible for making sure London has enough police on our streets. Despite the govt. investing a huge amount for Sadiq Khan to recruit police officers, he fell short by 1,000.
Closure of Uxbridge Police Station (and 35 others in London) – residents passing me on the street are stopping to ask me when Uxbridge Police Station will open. That’s why I’ve been asking the Mayor to re-open it with a 24/7 counter and full custody suite. I have done, and will continue to do so - join my campaign. BUT the problem is the Mayor of London will not listen. He does not respond to my letters, nor does he care about the residents of Uxbridge and South Ruislip.
Expanded ULEZ - even when my by-election victory was a massive message to Sadiq Khan that the residents of Uxbridge and South Ruislip do not want his disastrous ULEZ, he continued to pursue it - all it is, is a tax-grab. What’s worse is that he is planning a pay-per-mile that will come into full swing if he retains his Mayoralty. Don't believe me? People are already being paid by him to work on it.
Broken promises - The govt. gave Sadiq Khan £4 billion to build affordable homes, But none started, not even 2 years intro the programme.
Do you want to risk another 4 more years of being ignored by Sadiq Khan?
That’s 4 more years of knife crime that’s SURGED by 54%, robberies UP by 49%, sexual offences INCREASED by 53% and MORE closures of police stations.
It’s more TfL delays and shortages of services.
It’s more families who decide to leave London as they simply can’t afford it.
It’s more people losing their hard-earned money as they are forced to pay-per-mile when they drive to work, or see their family.
We are slowly witnessing London descend into a dystopian nightmare, which breaks my heart.
London – it’s time for a change. The Mayoral Elections on the 2nd of May is your chance to restore our nation’s capital to the vibrant and prosperous city it once was.
The hard-work of my predecessor Boris Johnson (previous MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip and previous Conservative Mayor of London) has dissolved under the absolute carnage caused by Sadiq Khan.
Do you remember when we had:
- A 24/7 city?
- No strikes?
- Crime cut by 23%?
- Homicide rate reduced by 50%?
If you can’t remember it – I don’t blame you. All Sadiq Khan’s PR and personal advertising has clouded some of my memory too.
But London - Let’s get it back. Let’s get it better.
A vote for Susan Hall, is a vote to...
- SCRAP ULEZ EXPANSION ON DAY 1.
- EXTRA POLICE OUT ON THE STREETS, and a FEMALE POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER WHO UNDERSTANDS WOMENS SAFETY.
- MORE AFFORDABLE FAMILY HOMES.
- And will CUT TAX:
Under the last Conservative Mayor of London, GLA council tax was frozen for 3 years, then cut in following years.
Under the current Labour Mayor, GLA council tax has increased by more than 70% - and on what?! Poorer services.
From last month, the Mayor increased yearly tax council bills by £38.55, the most he has raised it in his time in office. It means the typical household will pay just over £434 to the Greater London Authority, mainly for transport, policing and the fire brigade (which all still run badly under him) as well as the running of City Hall.
This is on top of what households pay their local councils for services.
AND you're a B and D property - from paying £276, you now pay £471.
Come on London, your vote could help put London back on its feet again.
A vote for anyone else other than Conservative Mayoral candidate Susan Hall, GLA Conservative candidate Henry Higgins & Conservatives will be a vote for Sadiq Khan's dystopian London.
